Birchbox November!

Zoya in Noel
I was definitely the most excited about this when I first opened up my box. When I first signed up for Birchbox I desperately wanted to get a Zoya nail polish and now I have one! It's about half size and it is part of their Christmas collection! I absolutely love the color and consistency. Please excuse the crappy picture as I had had the polish on for a good amount of days and it was beginning to chip (I'm completely paranoid about chipping). I will definitely be buying some Zoya nail polish after trying out this!
Choco Pod in Firecracker
I have to be honest, I will not be trying this candy. I HATE spicy stuff and this chocolate contains chipotle, gross! I will give this to my mother or sister.
Baublebar Black Wood Pop Bracelet
I was thrilled to get this in my birchbox! Look at how cute it is!!! I was eying Baublebar bracelets but they are a little pricey so I was very excited to get this $20 bracelet in my birchbox! I love it!
Oscar Blandi Jasmine Protein Mist
THIS SMELLS AMAZING! I put it in my hair before I blew dry it and it was amazing. It made me feel great all day having the scent in my hair and it made my hair really shiny and nice. It says that it is good to refresh you hair too when you haven't washed it but I haven't tried that yet. I might buy this!
Klorane Soothing Eye Makeup Remover
This stuff is great. It will probably be the first full size thing that I purchase from birchbox. It works really well and it's not that expensive which is a definite plus! It also smells just like high end mascara, you know that soft flowery smell? It's great, and it's only $9! (Sorry couldn't resist showing off my nails there! Rainbow connection over a purple Urban Outfitters polish)
LaROCCA Champagne and Shimmer Body Polish
This smells amazing too! I actually want to eat it instead of use it on my skin because it smells just like a Grapefruit. I probably won't purchase this because it costs $35 dollars and I really feel like you can get comparable scrubs to this for less money. I will enjoy sniffing it though!

All in all I think I have my first really enjoyable birchbox. I truly enjoyed everything in it (except the candy). I'm really happy I got the Zoya nail polish most of all! I would probably say that this is the best birchbox that I have received so far!

October Birchbox

This is what I received in my October Birchbox. The theme of this Birchbox was "Prep & Prime." I was so so on this Birchbox. There wasn't any product that I would go out and purchase. So let's get down to the review.

Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-in Conditioner. I really like this. The second I put it on my damp hair, I knew it was a good product. My only complaint is that it is for curly hair and I have straight hair. Sometimes my hair has a mind of its own and some parts of it will try to curl and this product only helped it. I had little wispy curls ringing my face while the rest of my hair was pin straight. That being said, if Ouidad makes a Leave-in Conditioner for straight hair I will purchase it. I'm even considering buying their shampoo and conditioner to give that a try (if I ever break up with Paul Mitchell that is). I have to say that this is probably my favorite product that came in this month's Birchbox.

Laura Geller Spackle Primer in Bronze. I read that a lot of people love this primer but I just don't get it. It did nothing for me. I saw no illuminating bronzy glow on my skin after using it like the product suggested there would be. It also did nothing to hold my foundation on. I don't know if I was using it incorrectly or something but I just didn't think this product was worth all the fanfare.

Juno Transformative Lipid Serum. I would absolutely never ever purchase this. First of all, I'm 21. I have no fine lines or wrinkles and I really don't see the point of using a serum at my age. I used it a couple times on my face just to give it a fair try but I really don't see the big deal. It made my skin soft but I can do that with moisturizer. The main reason I would never purchase this, however, is because it costs $125. Seriously? I'm even disappointed in Birchbox for sending me such an expensive thing. Sure it's great to try out all sorts of things but I'm really not going to go out and drop $125 on an expensive serum. I'd rather buy 3 Urban Decay palettes. I will have to look through my beauty survey on the Birchbox site to see what I entered to deserve this. I was really disappointed that I didn't get the adorable Anastasia lip gloss that other people got. Oh well.

Ahava Mineral Hand Cream. I like this hand cream but not enough to purchase it. This is in part due to the smell. Sometimes I'd rather things just not have a scent at all because they are just too overwhelming and gross. This is the case with this hand cream. I did like what it does for my hands, but the scent gives me a headache instantaneously.

Ahava Dermud Foot Cream. I might purchase this product if the price is right. My feet are disgusting. They are dry as a bone and my heals are cracked. One of the people I follow on Youtube (TotalMakeupJunkie101) suggested Vaseline on the foot with a sock over it overnight to solve this problem. That's a great solution but this foot cream is even better. I could see a difference the next morning after I used it. I wish I had gotten a larger sample of this but I think this was my treat for the month so I understand why I didn't.

Well that's all I received. I was a little disappointed but what can you do? I don't feel as if I have gotten any truly fantastic products in the Birchboxes I have received so far but then again this was only my second month. Hopefully next month will knock my socks off!

September Birchbox

I intended to do a September Birchbox post right after I got my (first ever) Birchbox but I was all hectic with school and everything and so I just let it slip my mind. I also didn't take any pictures because I used one thing before even thinking about it so I will link to each product I got just for you! :)

Ok so first of all, I was VERY excited to get this Birchbox because I had been reading about the service for a long time and I wanted to try it. I signed up in early August but you don't get your first Birchbox until the month after you sign up so I had a month's wait before I received it. You spend $10 a month and for that you get 4-5 deluxe beauty/skin/perfume samples and one treat. Each box is customized based on your own personal Beauty Profile. Many many many people on YouTube have these wonderful un-boxing review videos. I'm not that comfortable with the whole reviewing thing yet so I probably won't do YouTube for a while if ever. Anyways...

I was allergic to this product, otherwise I would have loved it. It made my skin puff out and turn bright red. That's just me though, I'm very sensitive to herbal stuff. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Speaking of winning some, wow did I win when it comes to this product. I love these things. They lasted on my nails with ABSOLUTELY NO CHIPPING for a week before I took them off and the only reason I took them off was because my nails were growing out and I had a gap at the bottom of my nail. I could have left them on for two weeks (how long they are supposed to last) but I got impatient (I have nail add). This is my favorite thing from my Birchbox. I will definitely buy these babies. I will buy them for my sisters, my friends, EVERYONE because they are so cool. Perfect manicure, no work, $7.99, lasts a week? What more could you possibly want out of a nail product? They are also really easy to apply! I'm in love!

I liked this lip product and I was pleased to find a lip product in my Birchbox. I really like the way it feels when I put it on and that it is a cross between a gloss and a balm. This is probably something I would purchase if it were on sale but I will have to use it longer to see if it is worth the $12 price tag.

The last sample I received was of this perfume. I love the scent, it's very pretty, but I don't think I would pay $60 for it. Again, it's something that I will have to try for a while to see if I'm in love with it. I do like that they are organic, but I'm just not sure about the price. Also, I don't know how to tell top notes from bottom notes and my nose is very stuffy so you will have to read what they say on the website to see what it smells like. I think it smells like pretty.

Finally I received a Birchbox friendship bracelet. It was a pink rope and a silver square (the Birchbox sample). Some YouTube bloggers were really excited about this. I don't really care about it. Mine broke after 4 hours of wearing and it is pretty cheap looking. I guess it's a nice sentiment, but I like the products better than the treats anyways!
