There is a lot here. A lot a lot. First of all, the entire palette is set in a beautiful mirrored jewelry box. The idea is that you can pull out the glittery trays that hold the makeup and use the box as a jewelry box. I haven't done this because I really don't have a protected place to put the make-up. Maybe if I ever invest in z-palettes I'll do it but for now I like to keep the box on my vanity.

Onto the colors. There are a lot of shimmery colors and a lot of matte colors which is nice to see in a large palette like this. The matte colors tend to be lighter and therefore less pigmented but that's ok too as the mini palettes aren't all overpowering. The shimmery colors tend to be amazingly pigmented, especially the cooler ones.

I spent a lot of time debating whether to get this or the Lorac palette that was along the same lines as this. I had never tried Lorac and I wanted to, but then again I've had such fantastic luck with Tarte so far that I knew I wanted this one. In the end I went with what I knew and I'm pleased I did. Not only did I get a bunch of new eyeshadows handily arranged in matching groups of four, I also got four cheek colors and two mascaras.

The cheek colors are amazing. I've wanted to try the amazonian clay blushes for a long time and based on the two that are in this palette I think I will order some more. The pigmentation on them is spectacular. The bronzer is also very nice, but the highlighter is probably my favorite. It's that perfect shade of pinky glow that I look for in a highlighter.

The mascara is great too. The lights camera lashes mini will be the third lights camera lashes mini that I have received. You won't hear me complaining though as it is my favorite mascara. I also love that they included a lash primer in the set. I currently use a Clinique lash primer but it is nice to have another one for when I'm on the go!

I love this set. If it is still available I would recommend it to anyone who wants a ton of makeup! Please leave questions and comments and subscribe!

Smashbox O-Gloss Noir

I'm a huge fan of the Smashbox O-Gloss series. The glosses smell great, the feel amazing on the lips (smooth with absolutely no stickiness) and they change color. I'm a huge gimmick person. If your product has some special gimmick, I WANT IT! But there is something more to these glosses than just the gimmick. While I didn't buy them at full price, I will if I run out of them. O-Gloss Gold is my absolute favorite lip gloss.

I really believe that these change to your perfect color. As you can see from my swatch, it starts off as an ugly black color. This is a little scary when you first apply it to your lips. Never fear though, it soon changes into a beautiful berry color.

Of the three O-Glosses that I have, I wear this one the least. That is only because I feel like the berry color is more suited for a night time look and I don't usually go out. I like these glosses better than the Too Faced Mood Swings too. They smell better and they are less sticky!

Urban Decay Matte Eye Shadow in Electric

What?? You say this is a matte shade?? No way!

But seriously Urban Decay makes the most pigmented matte eye shadows that I have ever seen. I also love the color. It's so bright and turquoise!

Now on to the more practical stuff. How do you wear this eyeshadow??? First of all, I wouldn't just sear this over my lid. This eyeshadow is really great for everyday as a liner. I would line the top lid of my eye with it for a little pop! It is also good paired with a brown color.

Stila Dream in Full Color and Daydream Palettes

Both Palettes

The Dream in Full Color Palette and Eyeliner

The Daydream Palette

I received the Daydream palette for Christmas and I had to buy the Dream in Full Color palette. These are amazingly pigmented. I have loved Stila for a long time and these two palettes make me love them even more. One of the reasons I wanted the Daydream palette (I asked my sister for it) was because of the middle shadow, Kitten (Kitten is the middle shadow in both palettes). Kitten in a single pan retails for $17. The entire Daydream palette was $18. So for a dollar extra, you get 21 other eyeshadows. When I saw how good they were, I knew I needed the Dream in Full Color palette as well.

So let me get down to the brilliance of these palettes. (I'm not going to swatch all of the colors as there are so many and I would have about 500 more pictures in this one post than necessary. If people want swatches then request it and I can do another post in the future.) Not only are the palettes beautiful to look at, the colors are situated in a way to make it brainless for anyone wanting to use it. If you start from the middle color, coordinating eye shadows spiral out counter-clockwise. On the Dream in Full Color palette the outer colors are blushes.

The Dream in Full Color palette is everything I could ever need to do my make-up on a daily basis. The colors are beautiful pigmented, some shimmery and some matte. The darker colors in the center are great for lining the eyes, even though there is a full sized liner included in the set. The middle color is the perfect highlight color but there are also perfect highlight colors in the second outermost tier. You can use this palette to create a day or nighttime look and anything in between.

The Daydream palette is great for travel. It's small and simple. I love the color selection, they are much brighter than the colors in the Dream in Full Color palette.

I'm not sure if these are still for sale but if they are, check them out! Please leave questions and comments and subscribe!
